Hi, my name is Moira welcome to my site!

I am a fun enthusiastic Independent Speech and Language Therapist
based in the mid Essex area.

​

Born in Bangor, N. Ireland I qualified in 1994 with a BSc degree in Speech and Language Therapy from De Montfort University, Leicester.  Throughout my career I have worked for a number of NHS trusts and within a variety of speech and language specialities including 4 years as part of the specialist team for Cleft Lip and Palate surgery.

 

I recognised early on that my heart lay in helping children and as a mum myself I can empathise with the challenges that speech and language difficulties can bring.

I am passionate about communication and how important it is to instil confidence in children to enable them to flourish.

 I am motivated to help children reach their maximum potential.
All therapy sessions are tailor made, practical and fun.
